Giving Back

Alamo Business Club is proud to be members of the community and we understand the importance of giving back. Our members often take it upon themselves to give back our community and serve on a variety of levels. From donations to giving time to local organizations, the Alamo Business Club is a strong proponent of providing such support.

The Hope Center

The Alamo Business Club selected The Hope Center in Spring Branch, TX, as our 2024 charity. Development Director Chelsea Gruetzner was there to accept our donation and share the heart behind the ministry. She explained that The Hope Center’s mission is to be vessels of God’s love by meeting real, everyday needs with compassion and purpose. From the Food Pantry and Financial Assistance to the Thrift Store and outreach referrals, every effort is designed to restore dignity and help families move toward self-sustainability, while also pointing them to the hope found in Christ.

The Loft Coffee House, located within The Hope Center, is a great way to get involved. Every cup of coffee or pastry sold goes right back into supporting their programs. We encourage you to stop in and experience it for yourself!

In addition to giving financially, ABC members also volunteered at The Hope Center this past August. It was a meaningful opportunity to see their mission in action and to contribute our time to support the people they serve. Supporting The Hope Center has been a highlight of our year, and we encourage you to learn more about their mission: https://www.hopecenterministries.com/

Animal Rescue Connections (ARC)

The Alamo Business Club was honored to present a donation to Animal Rescue Connections (ARC). ARC, a 501(c)(3) organization, works as a compassionate advocate for community cats by rescuing abandoned cats in North Texas, nurturing them in loving foster homes, and working to place them safe and happy fur-ever homes.

Thank you to the wonderful members of the ARC organization for all that you do for our cats and community.

“ARC may be small, but we make a big difference in people’s and animals’ lives.”
